The Spanish Confederation of Reciprocal Guarantee Societies (CESGAR) has prepared a report on the financing of SMEs in Spain.

Currently in Spain, we have 3.4 million SMEs comprised of small and medium-sized companies, 3/4 of these companies are dedicated to the service sector.

95.7% of these companies are small companies with less than 10 workers.

The goal is for these companies to create more than 450,000 jobs in the coming years, while also maintaining 400,000 jobs.

However, the problem they deal with is the lack of funding these companies receive.

46.4% of businesses in Spain expect an increase in their turnover for next year.

Exporting firms have also suffered an increase of 8.5%, leaving behind the 6.8% of 6 months ago.

83.9% of the SMEs that have requested bank financing have obtained it, the main problem is the lack of guarantees and endorsements with which the company is.

The average operation of financing for SMEs is € 80,000 to be repaid within 8 years with an interest of 3.5% and even lower.

For all this, the Reciprocal Guarantee Societies want to make themselves known by signing agreements with the largest banking companies in order to allow these financing.
